About Cable Area Social Connections

Cable Area Social Connections was formed in August 2023 by a group of Cable residents who recognized the need to address the issue of social isolation in our rural Northern Wisconsin community. We are affiliated with Bayfield County Aging and Disabilities Resource Center (ADRC) & the Town of Cable.

Our purpose is to increase awareness of the health risks associated with social isolation, identify risk factors affecting our community, and to support and create programs that foster healthy community interations.

Increase awareness of the health risks of social isolation and create opportunities for engaging in positive social interactions.
