Senior Lunches

What are Senior Lunches?

Senior lunches are part of Bayfield County's elder nutrition program and offer a nutritious meal in the company of others. Cable area senior lunches are served at the Cable UCC Church, 13445 County Hwy M in Cable, on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month. Doors open at 11:30, lunch is served at noon. Reservations are required, see below. If able, a suggested donation of $3-5 per meal helps support the program.

How does it work? Who is eligible?

Anyone 60 and over is welcome. Those unde 60 are asked to pay the full cost of the meal, $10.
Besides enjoying a nutritionally balanced lunch, senior dining offers an opportunity to catch up with neighbors, meet new friends, and take advantage of health - or benefits - related programming.
